Our Commitment
Youthyoung is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Website Accessibility Measures
We have taken the following steps to support accessibility on youthyoung.world:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- Alternative text on all images
- Keyboard-navigable menus and interactive elements
- Sufficient color contrast ratios across text and backgrounds
- Responsive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices
- Form labels and error messages for screen reader compatibility
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences in CSS
Walking Program Accessibility
Our outdoor walking programs take place on public sidewalks, park paths, and urban trails. Terrain and accessibility vary by route. We publish route details — including distance, terrain, and incline — before each scheduled walk so participants can make informed decisions.
If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us before enrolling. We will do our best to recommend a suitable walk or accommodate reasonable requests.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
Our website is designed to be compatible with major screen readers and browser zoom up to 200%. If you encounter barriers while using assistive technology, please let us know.
Known Limitations
Some third-party content embedded on our site (such as Google Maps) is controlled by external providers and may not fully meet accessibility standards. We are working to provide alternative contact methods and location information in accessible formats.
